Les Chic, Les Chien (Week Eight)

Each week, I review one hundred looks, half of which induce the phonetic uh-mey-zing and half of which induce more violent vomit than the night Jake chose Vienna. With this series (translation: the cool, the rotten), you will ascertain, via my eyes, why an ensemble should spend an evening as your apparel or why an ensemble should spend an evening inside a nondescript box whose ultimate destination is the Salvation Army.

So many people tell me how much I resemble Camilla Belle. I am totes going to take that as a compliment, especially after this week. I love love love her printed summer frock and adore her added matching belt that enhances her curves. She mixes funky gold earrings, a simple diamond necklace, fun bangles and a pink pastel shoulder bag while supplying the perfect touch with unique sunnies. Thank god I didn't chop off my hair last week, even better reason to look like this goddess. Amazing!

Amanda Bynes has had a rough year and it looks like she is taking it on while going all out in this miserable looking outfit. Since when was it okay to mix floral, flag print and leopard all in one. Don't forget to mention the fact she has a checker Louis Vuitton wallet and quilted black leather Chanel handbag. What went wrong? Well, everything. Nothing meshes together AT ALL. Oh Amanda, I know you're all about being funny but please lets just stick to the movies. After this, I'm not sure you'll ever be cast again.

Honey, You Are Yummy

I'm going to be Carrie Bradshaw here for a moment, so don't mind me. While having dealt with a breakup before, I have always believed in Frank Sinatra's "The best revenge is massive success" quote. I feel your first success starts with fashion and the way you feel about yourself.  When I went through a breakup this summer with my ex boyfriend, I seriously loved nothing more than looking hot and sexy. I would upload different pictures to my facebook and twitter account (knowing he would see them) flaunting the fact that I had my confidence back and better yet the absolute proof of what he really was missing out on... a.k.a. the goods that God gave ya! When the person you love hurts you, its really hard to build a bridge and get over it. The best thing you can do is stay strong and take it a day at a time. Can we just admit that Rob is looking damn good and SO glad he is single! Talk about taking it a day at a time. YUM!

All smiles at the premiere of "Cosmopolis," Robert Pattinson shines in a radical dark blue suit while mixing a touch of darkness with a bold, black tie.

Bohemian Beach Babe

I have a little obsession with the Boho Beach vibe. I thought I would pick a couple of my favorite outfits and let you know how I would style them. You can't go wrong with a crochet dress or detailed summer shorts before we dive into fall and winter. With each of these ensembles, I find it important to style them up with good makeup and hair. See what I have to say below.

This boho style 'Legend Indio Crochet Dress' ($298) is the perfect beach ensemble for your topical getaway. Add some cute gold or brown strappy sandals for a more chill, relaxed vibe. Choose beach waved hair and natural makeup. Don't forget your sparkly bronzer, which will add the perfect touch of sexy.

Snatch these adorable 'Riley Daisy Denim Shorts' ($80) that would look perfect with a skinny yellow belt and relaxed white blouse or tee (as shown). Don't forget those sassy sunnies to block the bright sun. Pair these shorts with some dazzling sandals or nude wedges and throw your hair up in a ponytail or sleek bun. Opt for beachy but dark makeup, adding in some brown and tan eyeshadow. As always, obviously, pout your lips with some light pink gloss.
