For Those About To Rock...

While baseball and fireworks are the activities which are scribbled upon our calendars and vastly ignored until within hours of their occurrence, music festivals are the most anticipated and most intensely craved aspect of summer. From Bonnaroo and Coachella to JazzFest and Lollapalooza to Summerfest and Warped Tour, even your own city and county's exhibition; as you embark upon the annual shared experience of screaming and shaking your @$$ among strangers, mirror the example of this trio of attendees, whose style stood up and was counted.

Camilla Belle flutters into Coachella wearing a white floral printed dress and detailed short sleeve sweater, which she accents with brown boots, a white shoulder bag, and any festival's most essential accessory, fab sunnies to protect your eyes from the bright sun.

Kate Hudson channels her inner flower child in a simple gray tank and adorable lace skirt. The Something Borrowed Star and fiancee of Muse front man Matthew Bellamy concludes her ensemble with short booties, sunnies and tons of bangles.

Rachel Bilson intermixes cute and casual in a fun printed tank and jean shorts, sunnies, nude sandals, and an awesome drawstring bag, which perfectly pops the detail of her outfit.

Surf the Summer Festival Circuit with These Precocious Pieces:

Good Night One Tree Hill

After nine years of coupling and sex, friendship and rivalries, love, betrayal, and basketball, One Tree Hill will air their one hundred and eighty-seventh and conclusive episode. In honor of The CW and WB's third longest series, I present eight of those who allowed us to live for them as a river lives for the sea.

Bethany Joy Lenz (Haley James Scott) dazzles in this super adorable white patterned mini accented with a burnt orange cocktail ring and matching clutch. This is your world Hales.

As if he were exiting Whitey Durham's office en route to the River Court, James Lafferty (Nathan Scott) struts a button down shirt, backpack, and sunnies. Nathan, people love a guy that rises from the ashes, remember that.

Sophia Bush (Brooke Davis-Baker), my girl crush and the character whose sauciness, speech, spunk, and style I mirror, glistens in this charming black blouse with belt and ruffle mini skirt, sassy strappy heels and simple black bag. B Davis, we both just want to live lives we're gonna remember.

Austin Nichols (Julian Baker), also known as Sophia Bush's on and off screen dream catcher, sizzles in a casual white shirt and jeans with scruffy hair. JB, even though you're not a guys guy, I'll be your homie.

Hilarie Burton (Peyton Sawyer-Scott) defines elegance in this cobalt blue dress and precious heels. P Sawyer, every song ends, but is that any reason not to enjoy the music?

Chad Michael Murray (Lucas Scott), who has obviously matured since he started dribbling that basketball across a bridge, sizzles in a rocker infused ensemble while shopping. We'll be seeing you Lucas.

Shantel VanSanten (Quinn James-Evans) radiates assurance and happiness in a sweet white top and black sparkly pants accessorized with bold earrings and a gun metal colored cuff. Quinn, the first time I looked in a lens, I realized I could see magical things in unexpected places.

Robert Buckley (Clay Evans), whose body seriously needs an agent and I will volunteer, flaunts a form fitting t-shirt with sunnies and jeans. Clutch fashion Clay.

Buyer's Draw A Line And It Was Not Yellow

Fashion Star's fourth week high end\low-end challenge saw a savvy quintet scaling the ladder of success and an unlucky seven perilously clinging onto the rungs. Ultimately, Sarah Parrot achieved $240,000 sold, Kara Laricks and Nikki Poulos registered their third sales, and Lisa Vian Hunter learned even a supportive Nicole Richie tweet cannot preclude elimination. (#WeWouldAlsoWearYellow)
Following three futile exhibitions, creative and funky Barbara Bates finally scored her initial sale as Macy's chose both her high end Sleeveless Printed Halter Shirtdress ($99) and low end Sleeveless Hooded Halter dress ($79).

Luciana Scarabello left Ronnie Escalante as the sole designer sans a sale, as Saks chose her timeless Beaded Dress for $225. Easily pair this piece with black, nude, or silver heels and simple jewelry.

Kara Laricks continued living the maxim high risk equals high reward as this rocker vibed Tailcoat Jacket ($395), notched her third consecutive sale with Saks.

Nikki Poulos catalogued this season's eighth sell out with her maxi dress ($35), which was one of two H&M selections. If you are among the fortunate who wrest one from the hanger tomorrow, meld the garment with neutral jewelry as the expressive print is sufficient for ensnaring attention.

H&M extended their courting of Sarah Parrott into a fourth consecutive week, as the retailer purchased both her revealing white cutout mini dress ($40) and scorching red mini dress ($25). Amplify the already elevated volume of each frock with energetic heels or wedges and statement volume.

Jewelry 4:11

As an avid fan and patron of Virgins, Saints, & Angels (VSA), I seriously must share my unabashed love of this brand. Handmade in Mexico and worth every penny, the style and versatility of Cheryl Finnegan’s creation is simply incomparable. “The common thread amongst all VSA wearers is that they want to make a statement,” says the 2008 Council of Fashion Designers of America inductee. “They are confident - inspired by fashion, art, beauty, or symbolism.”
This quartet are some of my favorite VSA pieces!
These Rose of Venus Earrings, which reference the Sisterhood of Mary Magdalena, pair perfectly with a black top and leggings and they will exquisitely accentuate a teal colored wedge.

This eye catching San Benito Oval Charm defines the phrase ensemble staple. Throw this necklace over a casual t-shirt and jeans or a cute floral dress.

The Antigua Cuff will beautifully interplay elegant simplicity and spectacular expression, no matter your choice of afternoon or evening apparel. Compliment this cuff with the above Rose Of Venus earrings, a darling necklace, or a ring!

This Resurrection Jesus Ring, which depicts one of religion's most sacred occurrences, is sincerely beyond words. You can easily wear this ring with any outfit you could ever purchase.

Below are a collage of celebs who share my crush on VSA!
Leven Rambin, notable for her Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice recurring role as Dr. McSteamy's pregnant daughter Sloan Riley, flawlessly accessorized her lacy Isabel Lu dress with a peacock bead “Magdalena” necklace.

Miley Cyrus supplements a relaxed black and white t-shirt and jeans look with an accessory almost as delicious as boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, the previously referenced Magdalena necklace. The So Undercover and LOL star infuses a bold pop of purple via her Marc By Marc Jacobs shoulder bag.

America's first sisters of reality, Khloe, Kim, and Kourtney Kardashian, who have their own VSA Kardashian Collection, wear selected pieces while signing for fans at Kitson. The girls, whose Armenian heritage inspired their pieces, have dedicated the venture to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

Lovely Were The Ladies Tonight

On Sunday, the 47th annual Academy of Country Music Awards originated from Las Vegas' spectacular MGM Grand. Below are my dressed selections, a trio of princesses whose sparkle surpassed even Sin City's skyline upon a Summer evening.

Hillary Scott, flaunted her fabulous curves, simultaneously defining both elegant and seductive in her Emilio Pucci gown. Hillary, with bandmates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, also known as Lady Antebellum, won their third consecutive Vocal Group of the Year Award.

One Tree Hill siren Jana Kramer rocked this exquisite black and blue sparkly detailed mini, which may have even been to daring for Alex Dupre. We can't wait for Jana's self-titled debut album to hit stores June 5!

Taylor Swift not only scored her second consecutive Entertainer of the Year prize, she also scorched the carpet in this audacious and electric J. Mendel frock. Taylor, while as always classy and modest, was simply fearless with this choice.

Simple In Stripes

Covet basic and breezy attire which whispers with the enchanting splendor of a Nicholas Sparks novel, select a casual, yet cosmopolitan striped dress. Check out this trio whose ensembles are strokes of simplistic genius.

Zoe Saldana savors an afternoon of shopping in this darling blue and red striped dress, which The Woods star accents with a tan belt to enhance her waist, tan sandals, and a crossbody bag.

Nicky Hilton melds edgy and trendy in this fab yellow and black mini, which she mingles with black tights, ankle boots, and a shoulder bag. Paris' designer sis completes the look with black sunnies and a knit hat.

With summer as her style soundtrack, Kim Kardashian is simple and sweet in this black and white striped maxi dress. The US Weekly cover girl's accessories are equally effortless, simple jewelry, a black tote, black sandals, and sunnies.

Choose your own adorable striped dress.

This straightforward Lauren by Ralph Lauren Belted Stripe Knit Sheath Dress (Plus) is available at Nordstrom for $129. Blend it with some funky and sassy bracelets.

The bubblegum colored Kate Spade New York 'Silverscreen' Striped Bow Front Dress is $388 at Nordstrom. Add a classic pair of white wedges and simple diamond earrings to perfect the look.

This feminine Mimi Chica Off-Shoulder Flutter Sleeve Striped Dress (Juniors) is sold at Nordstrom for $42. Pair some cute sandals (like Zoe Saldana, above) to compliment this flirty piece.

Bella & Biebs Salvage Kid’s Choice Carpet

The 2012 Kids Choice Awards occurred Saturday and who needed slime after the Orange Carpet was a parade of hot messes. Thankfully, Justin Bieber and Kristen Stewart shimmered amidst the repulsive processional.

Kristen Stewart dazzled in this delightful Stella McCartney mini. The Snow White and The Huntsman and Twilight starlet further flaunted her fashion intellect with her choice of matching Barbara Bui heels, dark red nail polish, and a beachy ponytail.

While accepting the blimp for Favorite Male Singer, Justin Bieber rocked this radical dark green leather jacket with a plain white tee underneath. He completed the ensemble with unpictured black jeans and shoes.
