Walk This Way

With fall in full effect, we cannot fail to forget one of the greatest fall wardrobe pieces... BOOTS! It's super important to grab your favorite pair now while they are new to stores and sure to have your size. I pulled my favorite celebrity looks and am seriously gushing over each and every pair. While they are styled to the supreme and absolute in the pictures below, you must realize it is vital to pick up a pair of booties, knee high or thigh high boots for this fall and winter.

Ginnifer Goodwin seriously rocks her black wedge boots. I admire her edgy look that consists of her pixie hair cut, black dress, long gray sweater and shoulder bag. Seriously hope one of you pursues this vibe and puts it into full effect.

Katherine Heigl, one of the cutest moms to date, looks darling in her suede tan boots that match her handbag and belt. She opts for a bold green top and nude sweater to perfect the ensemble.

SkinnyGirl, Bethenny Frankel incorporates her super adorbs rain boots with her outfit of choice. She works them with a white tee, dark washed jeans and super smashing red hand bag. It is always appropriate to have a pair of rain boots for those rainy days.

While out with daughter Suri, Katie Holmes models a super comfy purple sweater, jeans and ankle boots. This look is the ideal way to dress down a pair of booties and go casual. Throw your hair in a pony tail (like Katie) for full effect.

Gwyneth Paltrow looks chic and fab in a gray blazer, jeans and matching suede gray booties. I love this ensemble because she adds a bit more sass with her big, long light gray scarf. Don't forget your sparkly accessories to go along.

On the go girl, Jessica Biel is off to run errands in her knee high boots. On those warmer fall days, pair your boots with a tee shirt and sweater vest and shorts like Jess. If the chill is still in the air or you plan on taking this ensemble into the evening, pair the look with jeans instead.

Bible! Who doesn't want to raid Kim Kardashian's wardrobe! Obsessing over this look, I love how well she understands fashion. Her boots are amaze and the specific hue is the "it" color for fall. Pair your thigh high "wine" colored boots with a classy blazer, blouse and skinny pant like Kim. Opt for some matching jewelry and handbag to complete the look.

Vanessa Hudgens prances around the city in cute multi color, brown and tan boots while she couples them with an adorable black sweater, jeans and fringe handbag. She makes the ensemble look effortless yet chic while not trying too hard.

Christina Ricci knows how to own a pair of biker boots. Casual yet fierce, we admire the way she pairs these specific boots with a navy blue blazer, light blue blouse, skinny jeans and black printed handbag. Way to go girlfriend!

We Have A Winner

Lately it seems like athletes, celebrities and politicians are having a difficult time composing fab fash. While I try to understand why, I also try to comprehend how they believe it is even close to appropriate to take a step out the front door. I'm sure it seems like I constantly rant about how awful an ensemble is and I must admit I have run across some pretty terrible ones; plenty of people left me disappointed at the 2012 ESPY Awards in Los Angeles this week. But, I must admit I was shockingly impressed with a few and I came up with my best dressed (who also presented together - how perfect!). Check it out!

Jessica Biel and Tim Tebow strut on stage to present Breakout Athlete of the Year. Jessica owns the word perfection in this gorgeous white mini. She added the absolute pop of bright and bold nude and neon heels (which I seriously want), while gentleman Tim looked better than ever in a gray suit and lavender (perfect hue) tie. Take note, this is how it should be done!

Nightmare At The Museum

The 65th Met Ball transpired this evening and while a minuscule portion ensured this event was as advertised, Fashion’s Night of Nights, the vast majority of luminaries essentially served as extras within Anna Wintour’s directorial debut, Night of the Lavishly Damned. Below are my Best and Worst Dressed and frankly, restraining myself with only a trio of the latter was a serious accomplishment.

BEST DRESSED

Camilla Belle, whom I seriously adore and I've been told I resemble (not bragging), exudes seductive resplendence in this Ralph Lauren roaring twenties inspired beaded silver gown. The Open Road star's mysterious eyes and lips further evoke an explicit question: How is she perpetually perfect?

Ashley Greene and Donna Karan's spectacular courtship continued as the 1996 CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year bequeathed the Americana actress this phenomenal frock. The design exquisitely encapsulates Ashley's stated style, classic with a modern twist.

Jessica Biel, whose playful and pleasant personality I enjoyed upon meeting her inside the Beverly Hills Hotel, owned this simple, yet striking Prada. The gown's glow almost exceeded the future Mrs. Justin Timberlake's sixteen and one half carat engagement ring.

WORST DRESSED

Mary-Kate Olsen, I have seriously loved you and your sister since Full House and I'm Talking How The West Was Fun and Winning London, but seriously what the Future Charlie's Angel were you thinking? The Dual Star Co-President appears thirty years north of aged and thirty pounds south of frail in this The Row, which is MKO's label, gown. I'm seriously reconsidering every compliment I ever extended her.

Florence Welch, you are a Grammy nominated and MTV Video Music Award winning musician, but you require a stylist (call me!). This Alexander McQueen catastrophe, and I'm using a charitable adjective, could whimsically clothe Lady Gaga as she performs Edge of Glory. However, this Christmas Tree is NOT acceptable Met Ball attire.

Gwyneth Paltrow, wearing the exact label Jessica Biel enhanced, appears as if Moses not only consumed every ounce of her hot water (yes, she showers with her children), he also monopolized every moment she could and should have spent before a mirror. This Prada abomination commences with inappropriate side boob and concludes with saddle bags sufficiently large for holding Apple (her daughter, not the snack).
