The Kentucky Derby, ecstatically referenced as sport’s most
exciting two minutes, will occur Saturday. I’ll have a special post recounting the
most ornate viewers of this spectacle’s one hundred and thirty-eighth
rendition, but for now, enjoy this Derby primer, as I remember a triad of
