Are You Ready Boots? Start Walkin'!

Summer boots are extremely popular. With the excitement and rave over them, it is vital that we don't style them the way we would in the fall or winter. You have to be very careful. For example, breathable linen booties are ideal for the warm weather because they won't overheat your feet. Fun prints are great against a bare leg and pairing your booties with cute breezy dresses always amplifies the look. Keep an eye on the boots you toss on. Fringe can be overwhelming and thigh-high boots can make you hot and sweaty which leads to itching and potentially dry skin. Below are some popular summer boots and great ways to own the look.

Kate Bosworth shimmers, per usual, in a multi colored sweater, jean skirt and adorable summer booties. She dazzled the look with perfect beach waved hair. Darling!

Rachel Bilson models some sexy leopard boots with a simple navy tee and jean shorts while out and about in the city of angels.

While making an important call (probably to hottie boyfriend, Justin Bieber) Selena Gomez owns knee- high boots (better than thigh-high) which she accompanied with a peace sign top and white shorts.

Wanna snag a great pair of boots for the end of summer that can easily transition to fall? Check out Doll Maison's "Keep Makin' Me Ill (Week Eight)" sunday shoe series for some awesome boots.

The Classic Cardi

Do you ever experience a moment while traveling where you get chilly? Or, perhaps you get cold in a restaurant? A breezy night by the beach? The perfect accessory for those occasions is a comfy and casual cardigan. Below are some of the best ways to work a cardi into your everyday style.

Ashley Greene rocks a caramel colored cardi while exiting a local airport. She owns this look with a simple white tee, ankle jeans, matching handbag and classic dog carrier.

Of course, my girl Kim perfects the cardigan look with bright and fun colors for summer. She works a pink cardi with a white top and ripped jeans while adding a feminine vibe with nude heels and spicing it up with a bright neon tote.

Rachel Bilson always dresses so carefree, which I admire. Here she looks california fresh in a blue cardigan, gray tee, cuffed boyfriend jeans, neutral flats, brown belt and detailed shoulder bag.

For Those About To Rock...

While baseball and fireworks are the activities which are scribbled upon our calendars and vastly ignored until within hours of their occurrence, music festivals are the most anticipated and most intensely craved aspect of summer. From Bonnaroo and Coachella to JazzFest and Lollapalooza to Summerfest and Warped Tour, even your own city and county's exhibition; as you embark upon the annual shared experience of screaming and shaking your @$$ among strangers, mirror the example of this trio of attendees, whose style stood up and was counted.

Camilla Belle flutters into Coachella wearing a white floral printed dress and detailed short sleeve sweater, which she accents with brown boots, a white shoulder bag, and any festival's most essential accessory, fab sunnies to protect your eyes from the bright sun.

Kate Hudson channels her inner flower child in a simple gray tank and adorable lace skirt. The Something Borrowed Star and fiancee of Muse front man Matthew Bellamy concludes her ensemble with short booties, sunnies and tons of bangles.

Rachel Bilson intermixes cute and casual in a fun printed tank and jean shorts, sunnies, nude sandals, and an awesome drawstring bag, which perfectly pops the detail of her outfit.

Biker Babes

Toughen up and loosen up! Quilted biker jackets, the perfect intersection of fierce and freedom, are an electric statement piece easily assimilated into anyone's rotation. Pair one with a spring dress and harmonize your aggressive and angelic streaks or score a more relaxed look with jeans or leggings. Below are four chicks who show us leather's place is so beyond just the back of a Harley!

Kimmie looks smokin hot as she pairs a white top and black leggings with her biker jacket. She polishes the provocative ensemble with a black scarf, black knee high boots, an exquisite quilted shoulder bag, and super fab aviator sunnies.

Rachel Bilson sets the example for marrying a biker jacket with a sweet, spring dress. Buttoned up on a chilly evening, the Hart of Dixie star completes her outfit with a black evening clutch.

Kate Bosworth vibes biker boho chic with a gray sweater, black skirt and small shoulder bag. Her splendid sunnies and tribal inspired earrings make this ensemble all and more.

Miranda Kerr shows us accenting a biker jacket can be as effortless as admiring her husband Orlando Bloom, as she compliments her coat with a striped top, light olive pants, black booties, and a tote bag.

Become a motorcycle monarch with these magnificent jackets.

For the sassiest biker affect of all, grab this colorful Burberry Brit Hooded Quilt Jacket at Nordstrom for $595, available in Dark Peacock (above) or Sapphire Blue.

I Spy Polka Dots!

Fashion, it seems, has come full circle, again. Polka dots first became popular on clothing in the late nineteeth century in Britain. Lately, the fashion world has started moving back to a more ladylike style. Polka dots are always a classic, yet uplifting and fun print that can make any outfit. But, don't be fooled. Not all polka dot prints are fab. There is a fine (dotted, of course) line between sophisticated and silly. Try monochromatic dots and pair them with neutral or plain pieces (jeans, white t-shirt etc.)

Amanda Bynes looks gorgeous in an adorable dot dress with cute lace detail at the top. Keep your hair simple, don't overdo your makeup and always remember to add a dot of lip gloss.

Rachel Bilson keeps it simple with a black sweater, cute rolled jeans and adorable boots. She adds her pop of fun with a festive polka dot scarf.

Lauren Conrad always knows how to dress cute. She pairs her polka dot top with an adorable black skirt and studded belt. She keeps it simple with wavey california girl hair and simple makeup. She does this look just right, with adding minimual jewelry while her top and belt make the statement for her.

Victoria Beckham keeps it classy in all black sunnies with her polka dot jacket and black birkin bag. Mrs. Beckham knows how to look like she runs the world while keeping it under wraps and in style.

This fun and classic top is perfect to pair with black skinnies or black leggings. Get the Polka Dot Printed Top at Zara for $60.
