Hannah's Holiday Look Book Gift Five

One of my favorite Christmas gifts are the original Christopher Radko ornaments where 100% of the proceeds go to the Child Mind Institute. I featured last years ornament on my Holiday Look Book and this year I want to make it a point to feature this holidays beautiful collection. Part of Christopher Radko's new celebrity designed holiday ornaments feature glam creations by stylist Rachel Zoe and fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg. Child Mind Institute is dedicated to transforming the mental health of children everywhere. They empower children and families while providing help, hope, answers and of course, love. I am inspired in helping such an incredible cause. Find it in your heart to purchase an unique ornament while you send encouragement, faith and support to the children who need it.

NYFW Spring 2013 Preview

While New York Fashion Week has come and gone, I took some time selecting my favorite pieces from seven genius designers. While the elimination process was crucial and insane, I have finally selected the most beloved styles. The collections featured at NYFW were absolutely incredible and I wish that they would fill my closet by Spring. Check out the most adored looks below.

Michael Kors chose to add a touch of sparkle and gold with white shorts and metallic heels. The blouse is super glimmering and an incredible way to add spunk to any outfit.

Jason Wu goes classy with a black and white fitted top, black skinny ankle pants and black heels. He chooses to pop the outfit with a white and leopard tote.

BCBG opts for a flawless sheer, lace black and creme frock with black heels that wrap around the ankles. Flawless and perf! Crushing over the wavy locks and simple black clutch.

One of my fav designs was composed by DKNY. I love this simple and carefree gown that fits the body completely. I admire how creative the design is while it also offers a collective feel.

DVF chooses bold and funky colors and patterns (per usual) which I totally gush over! The gorgeous dress above showcases a coral hue, white and turquoise. I love the bit of sparkle at the bottom of the frock that totally adds something special.

Kate Spade has proven that 50's inspired fash is what is going to be hot! Grab the mint collar blouse, checker capris, pointed toe flats, cat eye sunnies and nude tote. So Mad Men!

Victoria Beckham creates this chic and hip white mini with a clean and effortless cutout. Paired with the sassy nude knee high gladiators, this is totes amaze! I die!

Keep Makin' Me Ill (Week Eleven)

I have what the unenlightened would deride as a compulsion, fetish, infatuation, or obsession, yet I value as a virus every male and female should contract, Seriously Irresistible Shoes Syndrome. I need clothes (how many consecutive afternoons can one wear Lauren Conrad leggings? Love you LC), however when I even glimpse espadrilles, flats, sandals, stilettos, or wedges; necessities be damned! My eyes shimmer, my heart flutters, and within two hours, I’m reorganizing my closet because last week’s pair has new neighbors.

This is such a sexy shoe that it should be illegal if you don't have a pair in your closet. These Boutique 9 Pumps ($150) are great with a gorge gown or for a more casual look, a pair of jeans. Absolutely a basic essential you NEED.

Too perfect for words, these Michael Kors Pumps ($325) are amaze. Seriously in love, and while I ponder what I could wear these with, I vision a cream or black frock, simple stud earrings, sparkly bangles and a gray or black clutch (depending on which dress I choose). Beautiful!

My fav pair of the week, I will anything for these Rachel Zoe Sandals ($295). Bananas! I feel like I could rock them entirely upon my arrival back to California. What a maj moment that would be. Should I get these... no, the better question is how soon can I get these! I die.

Fall is such a problem for me because I admire the colors so much. I love dark and nude hues. Truthfully, I feel everyone should own a pair whether they be nude or dark shoes for the season. Perhaps these Diane von Furstenberg Suede Sandals ($280) are ideal for your fall wardrobe. Mix this color with any ensemble of your choice.

Suede is huge (like the duo, above). These wine colored, suede Stuart Weitzman Pointed Toe Pumps ($365) are excellent. The gold gives off a little bit of edge while keeping it modern and sophisticated. Pair these with black pants and a leopard top. This hue is the "it" color for fall and goes awesome with leopard print!

Keep Makin' Me Ill (Week Ten)

I have what the unenlightened would deride as a compulsion, fetish, infatuation, or obsession, yet I value as a virus every male and female should contract, Seriously Irresistible Shoes Syndrome. I need clothes (how many consecutive afternoons can one wear Lauren Conrad leggings? Love you LC), however when I even glimpse espadrilles, flats, sandals, stilettos, or wedges; necessities be damned! My eyes shimmer, my heart flutters, and within two hours, I’m reorganizing my closet because last week’s pair has new neighbors.

These seductive Michael Kors Platform Pumps ($175) will vamp up your classy black pencil skirt and blouse to brush off that perfect amount of sexy yet strong look.

I love these Kate Spade New York Pointed Toe Pumps ($298) that would easily go great with a LBD or blouse and pencil skirt.

Totally swear that I am obsessed with wedges and not afraid to admit it. I NEED these Ralph Lauren Dawn High Heel Wedges ($109) in my closet pronto!

DVF knows just what she is doing when designing the latest fashion must-haves. Grab a pair of these sophisticated Diane von Furstenberg Camilla Zipper Booties ($325) and make them your fall staple.

Adore these Boutique 9 Platform Pumps ($150), which are essential for any ensemble that requires a little sparkle. Lets be honest, what outfit doesn't require a little sparkle anyway!

Keep Makin' Me Ill (Week Five)

I have what the unenlightened would deride as a compulsion, fetish, infatuation, or obsession, yet I value as a virus every male and female should contract, Seriously Irresistible Shoes Syndrome. I need clothes (how many consecutive afternoons can one wear Lauren Conrad leggings? Love you LC), however when I even glimpse espadrilles, flats, sandals, stilettos, or wedges; necessities be damned! My eyes shimmer, my heart flutters, and within two hours, I’m reorganizing my closet because last week’s pair has new neighbors.

If it weren't for my street smarts and good parents, I would be in serious debt. These Betsey Johnson 'Busta' Sandals ($90) are the reason why so many college girls are in trouble. Like how gorge are these? Work them with a neutral colored top and some pastel skinny jeans.

These sassy Sam Edelman 'Jorgia' Sandals ($155) are beyond words perfect. Honestly, I need these. What girl doesn't love a little leopard in their wardrobe! Mix these with skinny jeans and solid black top.

Brian Atwood 'Francoise' Pumps ($395) are not only perfectly bedazzled, they are perfect for just about anything. Pair these with jeans, leggings, dresses or skirts and walk around like malibu barbie.

The unique and printed Diane Von Furstenberg 'Opal' Wedge Sandals ($298) are so adorable and sweet, I could totally rock these with a cute pair of jeans, a tank top and blazer. I seriously adore DVF and now even more because of these chic and pecious wedges.

Steve Madden does it again with these floral and tribal inspired 'Winonna' Wedge Sandals ($50). Snatch these limited shoes before it is too late and work them in with a solid dress or leggings and oversized shirt while adding fun jewelry.

Happy Birthday Barbie!

On Friday, Barbie celebrated her fifty-third birthday and throughout her two decades as Mattel's most iconic merchandise, George and Margaret Roberts daughter has been a busy girl. From architect to McDonald's cashier, plastic surgeon to United States Air Force Thunderbirds pilot, Barbie has had sixty-three careers (the next time someone questions your career path, tell them Barbie's your role model). As recognition of Barbara Millicent Roberts cultural impact, here are a quartet of women who made life modeled in plastic just as fantastic.

In 2012, Shawn Johnson should join Barbie as a two time Olympian and hopefully Barbie will join Shawn as a Dancing With The Stars champion.

Diane von Furstenberg and Barbie may each line the catwalk with some fierce skirts and stilettos, but Skipper's sister simply can't match the wrap dress.

Barbie never received the two billlion pairs of eyes which watched Kate and William's wedding, though Barbie has been a princess since 1990 while Kate is only princess consort.

Hilary Clinton may not have achieved the Oval Office, which Barbie attained in 2000. However, Barbie has never served as First Lady, Senator, or Secretary of State.

Fit To Print

This Spring, we run into some fabulous patterned jeans that may shock, interest, and even excite you. While many celebrities have been seen wearing them, I have also seen many girls around town or while out shopping sporting these awesome jeans. I found an adorable pair this past weekend, while shopping, that I am dying to purchase. Printed jeans give us freedom to add boldness, sass, and self-confidence to any outfit.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum rocks these awesome floral printed skinny jeans with a cute fedora. She adds a solid top and cute nude flats to simplify the look.

Jessica Alba goes for a much brighter look with these bold flower printed pants while adding a solid orange top and mint colored heels. She expresses more pops of color while adding a two toned green, knee length jacket.

While preparing to board a flight, Fergie looks ferg-a-licious strutting these fabulous printed pants, and adding a solid top and vest, black wedge and simple handbag.
