Charming Coral And An Avoidable Upset

While the 70th annual Golden Globes were less than a week ago, it is obviously vital we recap. If we learned anything from this years Globes, it is clear that no one, I repeat, no one can pull off an Angelina Jolie leg show (Eva Longoria, don't even try that again babe) and may I ask what in the world was up with all the after party looks (Nina Dobrev, seriously you get less attractive everyday. Grandma much!) You would imagine with all the money these celebrities have that they would hire a decent stylist or something. Perhaps give Rachel Zoe a call. I know she can't save us all but she certainly could lend a few tips. I narrowed it down to my best and worst and hope you agree with my picks because I am starting to think I may be the only one in this industry with half a brain.

This incredible coral color from Jessica Alba without a doubt belongs in her closet. I gush over this Oscar de la Renta look like a kid in a candy shop drools for bags of candy. Glowing in this dress she rocks the vibrant color. I love how her hair is swept to the side, her golden skin tone goes great with the makeup choice and that glistening necklace may be one of the best things she could have decided to add with this gown! Absolutely stunning. Jess blows me away.

I never understood everyone's fascination with Halle Berry and now I certainly don't. Is this Versace gown serious or am I simply dreaming? My mom just pinched me to alarm me of the fact that this is more than real. Who in the h-e-double hockey sticks decided on this piece of garbage! The high slit and cut out by her hip just screams "skank!" This does not cry Hollywood glamour. I don't expect everyone to model a classic style but I do expect some self respect and this is certainly not the frock to do so. The hair and jewelry is a complete hot mess as well. Do us a favor Halle and never show up again.

Hannah's Holiday Look Book Gift Five

One of my favorite Christmas gifts are the original Christopher Radko ornaments where 100% of the proceeds go to the Child Mind Institute. I featured last years ornament on my Holiday Look Book and this year I want to make it a point to feature this holidays beautiful collection. Part of Christopher Radko's new celebrity designed holiday ornaments feature glam creations by stylist Rachel Zoe and fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg. Child Mind Institute is dedicated to transforming the mental health of children everywhere. They empower children and families while providing help, hope, answers and of course, love. I am inspired in helping such an incredible cause. Find it in your heart to purchase an unique ornament while you send encouragement, faith and support to the children who need it.

Keep Makin' Me Ill (Week Eleven)

I have what the unenlightened would deride as a compulsion, fetish, infatuation, or obsession, yet I value as a virus every male and female should contract, Seriously Irresistible Shoes Syndrome. I need clothes (how many consecutive afternoons can one wear Lauren Conrad leggings? Love you LC), however when I even glimpse espadrilles, flats, sandals, stilettos, or wedges; necessities be damned! My eyes shimmer, my heart flutters, and within two hours, I’m reorganizing my closet because last week’s pair has new neighbors.

This is such a sexy shoe that it should be illegal if you don't have a pair in your closet. These Boutique 9 Pumps ($150) are great with a gorge gown or for a more casual look, a pair of jeans. Absolutely a basic essential you NEED.

Too perfect for words, these Michael Kors Pumps ($325) are amaze. Seriously in love, and while I ponder what I could wear these with, I vision a cream or black frock, simple stud earrings, sparkly bangles and a gray or black clutch (depending on which dress I choose). Beautiful!

My fav pair of the week, I will anything for these Rachel Zoe Sandals ($295). Bananas! I feel like I could rock them entirely upon my arrival back to California. What a maj moment that would be. Should I get these... no, the better question is how soon can I get these! I die.

Fall is such a problem for me because I admire the colors so much. I love dark and nude hues. Truthfully, I feel everyone should own a pair whether they be nude or dark shoes for the season. Perhaps these Diane von Furstenberg Suede Sandals ($280) are ideal for your fall wardrobe. Mix this color with any ensemble of your choice.

Suede is huge (like the duo, above). These wine colored, suede Stuart Weitzman Pointed Toe Pumps ($365) are excellent. The gold gives off a little bit of edge while keeping it modern and sophisticated. Pair these with black pants and a leopard top. This hue is the "it" color for fall and goes awesome with leopard print!

Political Statements

The White House Correspondents Dinner, an annual evening which imbues glamour and vogue upon the arena once disdained as show business for ugly people occurred Saturday. Below are an actress and stylist whose ensembles insinuated West Hollywood, even as they strode outside the Washington D.C. Hilton.
Kate Hudson, one of my personal favorites as well as Ann Taylor's newest spokesmodel, dazzled in this ostentatious Jenny Packham dress and Edie Parker accent clutch. Liv Lerner wishes she had your elegance KH.

Rachel Zoe once again showcased she can not only style Tinsel Town's most notable, such as Goldie Hawn's aforementioned daughter, the Piper Lime consultant can capture and occupy the conversation herself, as she did with this bananas vintage inspired Valentino. Given several of the atrocious gown selections I viewed researching this post, I pray RZ procured a score of new clients.

Maxi Madness

Maxi skirts are a great pick for this Spring and Summer. We have seen so many celebs rock these fabulous, fun, flowy skirts. But, be careful. With the wrong top, you could accidentally resemble an old schoolteacher with this look. Follow the accurate styling tips that I have listed below, you can and will make the look effortlessly glam!

Try:
1) Cropped Sweatshirt
2) Creative Top with Solid Skirt
3) Loose Fitted Blouse with a few undone buttons
4) Color Blocking

Below are some fabulous examples worn by some of our favorite celebrities!

Dianna Agron chose a loose fitted blouse to pair with her skirt, making sure a few of the buttons stayed undone, which added a little more feminine vibe to her look.

Celebrity stylist, Rachel Zoe, paired her casual maxi with an adorable cropped sweatshirt. Perfect look for a day at the market or out shopping.

Kourtney Kardashian added glamour while pairing a creative top with her skirt. She also made sure to accessorize perfectly with a gorgeous gold belt.

Spot On!

Wild things! Khloe Kardashian, Hilary Duff and Rachel Zoe are among the many celebrities who have been spotted, literally, wearing leopard. Leopard is huge for fall. Everyone is wearing leopard whether it be a bold statement you make with your handbag, accessories, tops, bottoms or shoes. It has been especially popular this fall if you add this print to denim.

Current/Elliott leopard Stiletto skinnies, are at Nordstrom for $198. If you find that too pricy, run to your nearest Gap and pick up Gap 1969 cheetah-print legging jeans for $70. Just add a white or black tee to your funky legging jeans and prepare to be spotted by people all around town.
