Don't Let Them Change Ya

Can we talk about how INCREDIBLE the Grammy's were last night! Oh em gee. I am dying dolls. I must say in all the years I have watched (which is a long time!) this was by far the BEST I have seen in a while. Absolutely amazing. I woke up smiling today with the success that was broadcast. The Grammy glam, performances and wins were all fab! I am so excited about it, that I have decided to skip the worst dressed (don't worry, I still saw a ton!) so I can rave about my top three best dressed for both women and men as well as my favorite performances.

Rihanna looking red hot and bomb was my absolute favorite of the evening and if I were doing my best and worst like I usually do, she would win. Hands down. I am obsessing over the long locks and bold lip. The custom Azzedine Alaia red frock is the most beautiful thing ever constructed. Literally perfect. Not only am I absolutely infatuated with this daring darling but she rocks confidence more than any other person in this world. No matter what is going on in her personal life she proves that confidence is key. She is the perfect inspiration for girls and helps us all shine bright like a diamond.

Can we discuss how delicious J Lo's body is, especially her thighs (holy!) and legs! She is one sexy mama who confirms curves are hot as hell and we should all strive for a curvy dessert looking body rather than a carrot stick. As soon as I saw her in that Anthony Vaccarello gown, I about fell out of my chair and wished I was either a guy or a lesbian. Holy lord. I just can't get enough. She took the Angelina Jolie leg look to another level (in a good way!). I love how everything but her simple shoulder and lovely leg were covered. It made the look that much more sizzling. Her sleek bun and bad ass heels topped this look.

When I came upon Nicole Kidman as I was watching red carpet live, I had to rewind real quick and make sure that it was indeed her. For the first time in a long time, I really felt like she owned a gown while still giving a sassy yet appropriate vibe. I seriously fell in love with this look she decided on that was super fresh, sleek and brilliantly designed by Vera Wang. I gush over her sleek, straight hair and relaxed jewelry. Completely perfect.

Okay. The stunna shades and that chiseled face totally explains why most of us girls scream out the name Adam Levine. You know what I mean. The perfection this man has is beyond me. His parents must be proud. I am proud and I only see him on TV or listen to him in my car. Call me crazy but his tattoos are the hottest thing I think I have ever seen. Not only does he have the looks but he has the body and THAT voice!  Couple those with that gorgeous Lanvin suit and it honestly make me want to find him and make out with him (and more). This man oozes sex appeal and I am damn happy he usually poses topless for the magazines. Oh so good.

I was SO pumped to see Justin Timberlake back in action. (JT, please never go another five years without creating music.) He was all swag in his dapper Tom Ford suit and tie and don't forget those enticing shoes. ALL men need a pair of those and I am not even kidding. In awe with his hair (what is up with the guys and the hair lately? LOVING it!) and sharp looking ensemble, this is the style all men need to model and pose. Obviously.

Chris Brown, oh my! I am usually not a fan of the all white suits and to be honest, I typically only like the classic black. But, something about this Lanvin look on Chris is magnetic. Maybe its the heavenly skin tone or appealing and charming look he has going on with that stance, or those earrings. Possibly one of his best looks ever. But whatever it is, please don't wake me up from this dream ensemble.

My favorite performances included Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z (glad to have JT back!), Rihanna (flawless as ever), Maroon 5 and Alecia Keys (incredible duo!), the Bob Marley tribute featuring Bruno Mars, Sting, Rihanna and Ziggy and Damien Marley as well as the tribute to the late Levon Helm and the others lost this past year in music, performed by Elton John and Mumford and Sons (along with a few others)! Congratulations to all the performers, nominees and winners. What an incredible year at the Grammys! Until next year...

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Tonight, 'Girls' Season 2 premieres on HBO. I know the anticipation has been killing all of us young females as we have been waiting anxiously for new episodes. So, lets recap real quick. Can you believe Hannah and Adam? This is totally going to be tough on him. I keep laughing at the fact that Hannah's ex-gay boyfriend is her new roomie and adore the idea of Marnie going with the flow of life. I think everyone needs to do that once in a while. Unpredictable Jessa and the threesome guy?! Seriously? Married? If that didn't shock us all, but something Jessa would totally do. As for Shoshanna, V-card... gone! Yikes... but something any guy by the name of Ray would totally do. I think we have a lot to look forward to this season and can't wait to see what happens. Don't forget to stalk lovely Lena Dunham's twitter page (@lenadunham) tonight. I have a feeling its going to be off the hook. See you on the flip side, girls.

Loving all of the ladies in floral. Adore Jessa's printed pants, Hannah's brilliant, bright blue, Shoshanna's wedges and Marnie's lip stick that matches her frock! Super fab girls!!

The boys are looking all dapper at the Season 2 Premiere. Ray's skinny tie is super fab, Adam's sleek hair is hunky, Elijah's detailed collar is the perfect twist along with the gray suit and I have an obsession with Charlie's grungy look and scruff. Love!

From Dashing To Grungy Plus A Hunky Twist

Award season is finally here and I couldn't be more excited. After taking the time to enjoy the holidays and start up on my New Year resolutions (did anyone else make any?) I am so thrilled to start the year off with the best and worst from this evenings 39th Annual People's Choice Awards which were held at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.

Absolutely loving Lea Michele and her hot pink mini, she deserves this years best dressed. While her fashion may have suffered last year, she certainly knew how to bring out 2013 with a bang (lets hope it continues!) The detail of the frock is exquisite and she went simple and sweet with her makeup and hair, which is always a bonus. Less is more and in this case, much more! Way to go girl!

Ellen Pompeo might as well have worn her scrubs off set to the party. Awarded worst dressed, do I even need to explain why? Looking like she just got done dumpster diving, she tossed on moms table cloth and threw a small saddle around her waist. Did I mention her hair needs some serious work as well. Yikes!

        And finally...

A little bonus to all the struggling men out there trying to figure out a way to piece an ensemble together for the next big event... lets just say this is the way to go. Sizzling Jensen Ackles (back away ladies, my bff will one day be engaged to this hunk) shines in this awesome wine colored suit. Such a twist on things, I dig this look on any dude. The color goes great with just about any skin tone. Last but certainly not least, my main squeeze, Adam Levine, seems to bring it to the table (as always, obvi!) in this blue suit and radical dress shirt. Both of these hunks deserve an A+ while it takes a twist on something other than your basic black suit. Divine!

Crazy Competition

With the premiere of The Voice: Season Three tonight, we gear up for some exciting things. From the blind auditions, to the battle rounds, as well as new rules to the game, seriously, who cannot be stoked! New advisers to our amazing coaches this season will include; Mary J. Blige, Michael Buble, Rob Thomas and Billie Joe Armstrong. If this doesn't scream "fun," I am not sure what does. Lets just hope we get to witness more of Adam and Blake's jokes, CeeLo leaves his cat at home and that Christina dresses more appropriately. One can wish.

My future husband, Adam Levine, seriously gives me a feeling of butterflies in my stomach. He is possibly the most gorgeous guy in the world. He shows off a strong, edgy vibe on stage while he sports his sexy tattoos, bold sunnies, and goes for his usual, white tee and jeans. Nothing more delicious than this hottie.

Ladies man, CeeLo Green, looks fab in this exciting ensemble. Displaying his classy attire, he wears a long coat and tie with genuine Italian leather shoes. CeeLo accompanies his look with a gorge red scarf and rad black sunnies.

Supermom, Christina Aguilera, enjoys a night on the town with her sweetest accessory, son, Max. I love that Christina rocks an all black ensemble (something I am known to do). Her printed blouse and studded flats add the perfect touch to her look. I love that a girl with curves (like myself) is not afraid to model off some leggings. Its not just for stick thin girls, people. Embrace your curves, ladies!

Country bad boy, Blake Shelton, perfects his southern style with this excellent purple shirt, blue jeans and cowboy boots. With his slick back hair, charming smile and exposed tattoo, he gives us a signal of bad boy with a touch of sweet heart. Boy, is Miranda Lambert one lucky girl.

Mademoiselle Chanel

Gabrielle "Coco" Bonheur Chanel was one of, if not the most, iconic fashion designers of all time. She introduced elegant, functional, relaxed and notable clothing that expressed women of the Twentieth Century. We learn something from her because she broke the traditional rules of women's fashion while contributing to a change through her designs. She originated the idea of the Little Black Dress "LBD" while making strands of pearls her trademark. One of her more famous creations was The Chanel Suit. It became acclaimed for its flattering cut, effortless fabric and weighted lining that provided an amazing structure to a woman's body. While Doll Maison celebrates Coco everyday with "Je ne fais pas la mode, je suis la mode" which translates her iconic "I don't do fashion. I AM fashion" on our site, today in honor of what would have been her 129th birthday, we celebrate Coco Chanel day, a day specifically dedicated to the gorgeous, glamorous, genius. I will forever be grateful and inspired by Gabrielle, while she helped pave the way for everyone, especially women, in the fashion industry. Below, enjoy pictures and quotes from the fashionista.

"In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different."

"Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman."

"A girl should be two things: who and what she wants."

"The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud."

"Women must tell men always that they are the strong ones. They are the big, the strong, the wonderful."

"I don't understand how a woman can leave the house without fixing herself up a little - if only out of politeness. And then, you never know, maybe that's the day she has a date with destiny. And it's best to be as pretty as possibly for destiny."

"How many cares one loses when one decides not to be something but to be someone."

"Adornment, what a science! Beauty, what a weapon! Modesty, what elegance!"

"Some people think luxury is the opposite of poverty. It is not. It is the opposite of vulgarity."

"A woman has the age she deserves."

Honey, You Are Yummy

I'm going to be Carrie Bradshaw here for a moment, so don't mind me. While having dealt with a breakup before, I have always believed in Frank Sinatra's "The best revenge is massive success" quote. I feel your first success starts with fashion and the way you feel about yourself.  When I went through a breakup this summer with my ex boyfriend, I seriously loved nothing more than looking hot and sexy. I would upload different pictures to my facebook and twitter account (knowing he would see them) flaunting the fact that I had my confidence back and better yet the absolute proof of what he really was missing out on... a.k.a. the goods that God gave ya! When the person you love hurts you, its really hard to build a bridge and get over it. The best thing you can do is stay strong and take it a day at a time. Can we just admit that Rob is looking damn good and SO glad he is single! Talk about taking it a day at a time. YUM!

All smiles at the premiere of "Cosmopolis," Robert Pattinson shines in a radical dark blue suit while mixing a touch of darkness with a bold, black tie.

White On White On White

White is the "it" color for the summer. You simply cannot go wrong with this bright and crisp hue. Lately, the way to perfect this color is by going out with an all white ensemble. Below are the best ways to get this look without exaggerating the style.

Angelina Jolie owns this classy and flawless all white suit accompanied with nude heels. She totes around a bold black handbag to provide the perfect amount of elegant lady.

My love, Kim Kardashian flashes a super peachy all white outfit. She works together a white blazer, white top and white jeans. She sports adorbs snake skin heels and a beige tote. Bible! I bet Kanye is going cray for this look.

On the go girl, Bridget Moynahan shines in an effortless and sweet light weight white tee and white skinny jeans. She carries her white bag and rocks some fab sunnies, to give off the perfect summer chic vibe.

We Have A Winner

Lately it seems like athletes, celebrities and politicians are having a difficult time composing fab fash. While I try to understand why, I also try to comprehend how they believe it is even close to appropriate to take a step out the front door. I'm sure it seems like I constantly rant about how awful an ensemble is and I must admit I have run across some pretty terrible ones; plenty of people left me disappointed at the 2012 ESPY Awards in Los Angeles this week. But, I must admit I was shockingly impressed with a few and I came up with my best dressed (who also presented together - how perfect!). Check it out!

Jessica Biel and Tim Tebow strut on stage to present Breakout Athlete of the Year. Jessica owns the word perfection in this gorgeous white mini. She added the absolute pop of bright and bold nude and neon heels (which I seriously want), while gentleman Tim looked better than ever in a gray suit and lavender (perfect hue) tie. Take note, this is how it should be done!

Keeping Up With Penelope

For the past week, I have anxiously been awaiting the arrival of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's new bundle of joy (while I am sure most Kardash fanatics have been). As an aspiring Kardashian ( just joking... Not really, who are we kidding, I am obsessed!) I'm absolutely thrilled to announce that they have welcomed daughter Penelope Scotland Disick to the world this evening. While I am over the moon for the gorgeous couple and precious son Mason, I present some of the most darling fashions worn by Kourt and Scott.

Looking sophisticated and sweet, Kourtney shines in this printed dress while mixing it with big, bold earrings and bright red lips while Scott looks immaculate in a simple, very put together suit and fab hair.

Adoring the fact that the couple can both flaunt leopard and look so perfect, I am seriously captivated by Kourt's shorts and Scott's loafers. Can this look get any more perfect! Meow!

I am loving Scott's dapper suit and matching cane while I definitely want Kourtney's adorbs black dress, tights and leopard heels for myself. Can we already agree that they are the best dressed couple in Hollywood!

Mission Impossible

With the sad news of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes splitting, I felt it was appropriate to look back on the impeccable fashion they once shared together. Throughout the years, I have admired TomKat seeing as they dressed the part for every occasion. Below are some of my favorite looks concerning one of Hollywood's most admired couples, that is no longer.

Looking beachy and free on a stroll with adorable daughter Suri, Katie wears a yellow sundress, oversized sunnies and a vibrant headband while Tom rocks a blue polo and khaki pants.

Totally classy and chic, Katie dons in a beautiful exclusive navy dress while Tom accompanies her in a very composed suit and matching tie.

All smiles at a Laker game in 2010, TomKat buoyantly shares a bowl of popcorn while they go carefree yet trendy in button up tops and jeans. Katie adds spice with her nude heels while Tom sports a leather jacket.

Gridiron Fabulous

The NFL Draft’s first round occurred Thursday and while my boyfriend was scrutinizing each prospect’s forty yard speed and vertical jump results, I was obsessed with their hues and patterns. Here are a trio who heeded Jim Rome’s formula for permanent success: Look Good, Feel Good; Feel Good, Play Good’ Play Good, Get Paid Good.

Stephon Gilmore, the Buffalo Bills choice with the tenth overall selection, appears as striking as the red, white, and blue he will rock this autumn. The South Carolina cornerback's ingenious ash colored suit is enhanced perfectly via a crisp light blue shirt and plaid tie.

Mark Barron, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers choice with the sixth overall selection and the initial safety chosen, provided the evening's premiere ensemble; a splendid soft gray suit coat; black, white, and gray shirt, and purple tie.

Trent Richardson, the Cleveland Browns choice with the third overall selection and the second Alabama athlete within my triad, flaunts this fantastic tan suit and chocolate brown tie. My boyfriend, an LSU fan, will hate when I say this, Roll Tide!
