Rockstar Face-offs (Week Two)

Each week, two famous celebrities face-off in a style challenge here on Doll Maison, allowing us to decide who rocked the look better. This week, "Rockstar Face-offs" Blake Lively and Katie Holmes model the Old Navy Rockstar Skinnies that are just a fashionable $29.50! Blake dazzles in the gray green skinnies that she mixes with a gray sweater, fedora, black handbag and flats while Katie opts for the hot red pants that she pairs with a cream blazer, navy tote and black strappy heels. So, who do you think rocked these jeans? Sassy Simple Sweats

The cold and crisp weather puts most of us in a mood. The kind of mood where you just want to snuggle up in a ball on the couch and watch your favorite movie. You dream about comfy sweats at work and can't wait to get home so you can dive into a pair. On the weekend, you lounge and go casual. Sometimes, it can be a challenge finding cute sweats though. Gushing Over Kate

I wanted to take a minute and obsess over this adorable style from one of my favorite girls, Kate Moss! Seriously, how charming is she in her gray biker jacket, white tee, matching gray skinny jeans and sassy brown fringe boots! Like, I am literally dying. I love love love how her hair looks like she just jumped out of bed (few can do this) while she takes a lovely stroll with her sweet dog, Archie. Perf! I have always admired Kate and her impeccable style. She can make a casual outfit look so chic and darling. "When it comes to dressing, I follow my feeling and just get dressed…" -KM 

Battle Of The Bloom

The 2012 VMA's were held Thursday and boy did we get our fair share of fashion. You should know by now how excited I get for award shows. I mean, the fashion is typically beyond words (sensing the sarcasm I hope) of course. Thankfully I had the honor of discovering one gorgeous babe. In the mean time, I also had to thumb my way though a dozen and a half worst dressed look. I just pray that the fashion gods come down sometime soon and help these desperate celebs out. I think it's the only shot we got. 

Demi Lovato was looking smoking hot in her adorable, sparkly, black mini frock. She mixed her edgy studded leather jacket and rockin' black booties while performing "Give Your Heart a Break" outside the Staples Center at the VMA pre-show. She didn't forget to apply that super sexy red lipstick while she gave her hair a break with beach waves.

OH EM GEE. For realies! I seriously wanted to go smoke a bong (in honor of Miley of course) when I witnessed this whole ensemble. Honestly, it makes me want to arrange my funeral, like... now! Who on God's green earth believes this disaster is appropriate. My goodness. The black boob-a-licious dress has "N-O" written all over it and to top it off that god-awful mohawk of hers desperately needs to disappear. What happened to the pretty Miley we all love and know. 

Remember Me

This week, news broke that Kristen Stewart (total slore) cheated on longtime boyfriend and hunky "Twilight" co-star, Robert Pattinson, with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders. While the news is seriously disturbing and shocking, I seriously had an unexpected moment of happiness (could Robert possibly be single!). While I try not to be quick to analyze, I always wondered what he liked so much about her. Through conversations with friends, she dresses like a homeless girl and always looked angry and unhappy. While I cannot judge the situation because we obvi are only getting details from the media, I wish everyone involved happiness and peace in their lives. Oh and Rob, call me!

Sexy vamp, Robert, looks mysterious and golden in this leather jacket, button up shirt and black jeans. His gorgeous brown eyes provide us a sense of love and fear. As Bella Swan said in chapter one of "Twilight," "I'd noticed that his eyes were black - coal black." 

Looking flirtatious and peppy, Pattinson takes a stroll in the city wearing a button up (per usual), gray t-shirt, and jeans. His goddess looking hair, backpack and coffee in hand add that extra bad boy, vintage look. 

Sorry K-Stew, but Robbie most likely won't be staring at you like this anymore while sporting that yummy body. Hope one of us sweet, sassy, spicy, sexy single ladies gets the chance to view this in person. Feel free to show us more, Rob! 

Rumor Has It

Eight time Grammy winner and female pop sensation Adele, released via her website that she and beau Simon Konecki are expecting. This will be the first child for the british diva and the second for her boyfriend of less than a year. While we wait anxiously to hear more about this precious news, here are some of Adele's most fab looks.

At the 2012 Grammy Awards, Adele models this gorgeous, sparkly, long black dress while adding the right touch with sexy red lips, simple hair and pearly earrings.

Out and about, the singer rocks an all black ensemble with adorable cat sunnies and black heels.

Mission Impossible

With the sad news of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes splitting, I felt it was appropriate to look back on the impeccable fashion they once shared together. Throughout the years, I have admired TomKat seeing as they dressed the part for every occasion. Below are some of my favorite looks concerning one of Hollywood's most admired couples, that is no longer. 

Looking beachy and free on a stroll with adorable daughter Suri, Katie wears a yellow sundress, oversized sunnies and a vibrant headband while Tom rocks a blue polo and khaki pants. 

Totally classy and chic, Katie dons in a beautiful exclusive navy dress while Tom accompanies her in a very composed suit and matching tie.

All smiles at a Laker game in 2010, TomKat buoyantly shares a bowl of popcorn while they go carefree yet trendy in button up tops and jeans. Katie adds spice with her nude heels while Tom sports a leather jacket.

One of our nations most iconic pieces of clothing is the denim jacket. This past weekend, as I was browsing new spring dresses, my boyfriend caught my attention with the impulsive, yet attractive idea of pairing one of the dresses I was considering with a denim jacket. While a denim jacket was not even one of my intended purchases this year, when presented with his suggestion, I realized I could work a jacket into several outfits instead of simply around one dress or pair of shoes.
