Open Your Eyes

Sunnies, my obvi signature word if you read Doll Maison everyday (and you should), evoke summer’s essence with an intensity which rivals sandals and shorts. Sadly, a lamentable fraction only considers function, depreciating shades as merely eyewear. Why? As I illustrate, via six spectacular pairs, sunglasses can be a transcendent accessory.

While I have a permanent infatuation with all which is Michael Kors, I especially adore these  'Griffin' Retro Sunglasses ($105), whose white hue are the must color trend this summer.

Everyone from the thirty-five year old seated opposite you outside the ice cream shop to the twenty-one year old lying opposite you upon the beach will be severely jelly when they glimpse you rocking these Bvlgari 'Limited Edition' Cat's Eye Sunglasses ($650).

Christian Lacroix, I am beyond words impressed with the incomparable trim which adorn is these Metal Sunglasses ($270). Totes amaze!

I ADORE, and I wish I could publish the previous word within seventy-two point Arial Black, Prada sunnies! Literally. These 'Baroque' Round Sunglasses ($290) will superbly embellish your face, eliciting even the envy of Miranda Priestly herself.

I love me nude and tan almost as much as I love me white and Givenchy satiated both of my desires, intermixing caramel, nude, tan, and white within these  incorporated Oversized Round Sunglasses ($290). I die!

Assuming you L-O-V-E Ray Bans (and who wouldn't), you will rapture when you purchase these audacious and provocative Wayfarers ($160). Slip these on and be feelin hella cool tonight!

A Few More Days For To Find The Perfect Hat

The Kentucky Derby, ecstatically referenced as sport’s most exciting two minutes, will occur Saturday. I’ll have a special post recounting the most ornate viewers of this spectacle’s one hundred and thirty-eighth rendition, but for now, enjoy this Derby primer, as I remember a triad of previous ensembles which I idolized.

Nick and Vanessa Lachey shimmer upon the 136th Kentucky Derby's red carpet with the Wipeout host flaunting a demure pink mini, nude bow heels, and a voluminous hat which garnishes her dress almost as beautifully as her significant other's tie.

Kate Walsh glistens in a radiant white mini, which she accents with a black floppy hat, thin black belt, and this weekend's most necessary accessory, a cocktail.

Tom Brady’s style is consistently as splendid as his statistics and the New England Patriots signal caller scores with this fabulous black and white checkered suit, wicker fedora, white shirt, black tie, and Ray-Bans.

This Means Bump

Academy Award, Golden Globe, and MTV Movie Award winning actress Reese Witherspoon is twelve weeks pregnant with her third child, her first with husband of twelve months Jim Toth, according to People Magazine. As a fan of Reese, I am so ecstatic for her and Jim. After all she has been through, she deserves the world of happiness!

Reese sets the style standard for every female of any age in this casual and cute denim dress, caramel colored handbag, and sunnies.

Looking sassy and fun, Reese pairs her navy skirt with a navy and white striped t-shirt. She adds a little spunk to her outfit with some smashing nude wedges.

The "It Girl" rocks a boho casual look with an adorable checked top, skinny jeans, strappy sandals and Ray Ban sunnies.

Wearing a darling hat, simple mocha colored sweater, and jeans, Reese completes her ensemble with a luscious snake skin handbag and pop of color turquoise necklace.

As classy as ever, the All-American girl certainly knows how to evoke Audrey Hepburn with an LBD, precious black flats, and her hair in a bun.

Reese leaves church with her family looking bright and sweet in a white dress and jacket on a Sunday afternoon. We can't wait until Ava and Deacon walk with their new baby brother or sister this fall.
