Tory Burch Resort 2013 Preview

While I sit here gushing and obsessing over the Tory Burch Resort 2013 collection, I must admit that this is by far my favorite collection, which is why I chose to do an individual piece on her designs. I hold a very special place in my heart for Tory while she is one of the most creative women in the fashion industry and I own several of her pieces. She knows exactly what she is doing and designs the most magnificent ensembles while constructing them with the best quality fabrics and exquisite patterns and prints. (Maybe I am biased because she wished me a Happy Birthday last year!) Every time I walk into one of her stores my heart flutters and I feel like a kid walking into a candy shop. As I view these outfits, I seriously want to scream with excitement. Tory Burch has done it again and I cannot wait for these pieces to hit stores! For now, check out my favorites below.

NYFW Spring 2013 Preview

While New York Fashion Week has come and gone, I took some time selecting my favorite pieces from seven genius designers. While the elimination process was crucial and insane, I have finally selected the most beloved styles. The collections featured at NYFW were absolutely incredible and I wish that they would fill my closet by Spring. Check out the most adored looks below.

Michael Kors chose to add a touch of sparkle and gold with white shorts and metallic heels. The blouse is super glimmering and an incredible way to add spunk to any outfit.

Jason Wu goes classy with a black and white fitted top, black skinny ankle pants and black heels. He chooses to pop the outfit with a white and leopard tote.

BCBG opts for a flawless sheer, lace black and creme frock with black heels that wrap around the ankles. Flawless and perf! Crushing over the wavy locks and simple black clutch.

One of my fav designs was composed by DKNY. I love this simple and carefree gown that fits the body completely. I admire how creative the design is while it also offers a collective feel.

DVF chooses bold and funky colors and patterns (per usual) which I totally gush over! The gorgeous dress above showcases a coral hue, white and turquoise. I love the bit of sparkle at the bottom of the frock that totally adds something special.

Kate Spade has proven that 50's inspired fash is what is going to be hot! Grab the mint collar blouse, checker capris, pointed toe flats, cat eye sunnies and nude tote. So Mad Men!

Victoria Beckham creates this chic and hip white mini with a clean and effortless cutout. Paired with the sassy nude knee high gladiators, this is totes amaze! I die!

Gypset's Thoughts And Stars

Earlier this year I had the privilege of getting to know LynnD Aludra, designer of exclusive high-end jewelry collection, Gypset Jewels. Her jewels are unique and personal while they have the capability of being used from one item to another. Many of her designs have been featured at important events such as The American Music Awards. Some of her creations have even been worn by a-list celebs including Cyndi Lauper, Katherine Heigl and more. LynnD's genius and inventive designs have made her the successful woman she is, "I realized that jewels could be like a gypsy and didn't need to be location specific." With this in mind, the jewels her company specifically crafts are versatile and can be worn many ways, such as on sandals, high heels, sunglasses, dog collars and more. You can model your jewels on your sunnies one day while on your sandals the next. "Dictated by life, luxury and no rules."

I always run into the same pair of sunnies and I constantly want to try something different. Rather than purchasing a million different pairs, mix it up with your jewels and attach them to your cute shades.

Everyone knows what it can be like to have a super classy, simple dress and generic pair of heels but still longing to add a little spice. These jewels are perfect on your elegant pair of heels.

One of my favorites, these black sandals are completely turned around with these stylish jewels. They give off an automatic, chic vibe.

Look what you can do with a pair of your super plain UGG Boots! Dazzle them up with some glitz for a special event which will provide a more classy feel to them.

The Many Blessings purse is the perfect clutch to take around on a night out. The best part about this is the gift you receive on the interior. The value of this purse lies within the sterling silver box attached on the inside. When you open the silver box you see a mirror. The mirror symbolizes the importance of true inner beauty and that your gift to the world is what you give to it.

Sassy yet sweet, the sparkly pet collar and leash are perfect for your little friend and all those long walks outside.

Mademoiselle Chanel

Gabrielle "Coco" Bonheur Chanel was one of, if not the most, iconic fashion designers of all time. She introduced elegant, functional, relaxed and notable clothing that expressed women of the Twentieth Century. We learn something from her because she broke the traditional rules of women's fashion while contributing to a change through her designs. She originated the idea of the Little Black Dress "LBD" while making strands of pearls her trademark. One of her more famous creations was The Chanel Suit. It became acclaimed for its flattering cut, effortless fabric and weighted lining that provided an amazing structure to a woman's body. While Doll Maison celebrates Coco everyday with "Je ne fais pas la mode, je suis la mode" which translates her iconic "I don't do fashion. I AM fashion" on our site, today in honor of what would have been her 129th birthday, we celebrate Coco Chanel day, a day specifically dedicated to the gorgeous, glamorous, genius. I will forever be grateful and inspired by Gabrielle, while she helped pave the way for everyone, especially women, in the fashion industry. Below, enjoy pictures and quotes from the fashionista.

"In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different."

"Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman."

"A girl should be two things: who and what she wants."

"The most courageous act is still to think for yourself. Aloud."

"Women must tell men always that they are the strong ones. They are the big, the strong, the wonderful."

"I don't understand how a woman can leave the house without fixing herself up a little - if only out of politeness. And then, you never know, maybe that's the day she has a date with destiny. And it's best to be as pretty as possibly for destiny."

"How many cares one loses when one decides not to be something but to be someone."

"Adornment, what a science! Beauty, what a weapon! Modesty, what elegance!"

"Some people think luxury is the opposite of poverty. It is not. It is the opposite of vulgarity."

"A woman has the age she deserves."
